more than just form

Willkomen!

morphorm wurde als Wortmarke und web-domain vor ungefähr sieben Jahren ins Leben gerufen. Phonetisch bezieht sich dieses Wort auf das englische ,more form‘. Dies steht wiederum für eine Haltung oder Ideologie im Entwurfsprozess, die sich einerseits nie mit der äusseren Form alleine zufrieden gibt (,more than just form‘) und zum anderen für eine ständige Veränderung und Anpassung (,morphing‘) der Problemlösungen an soziokulturelle Entwicklungsverläufe. Um dem in der westlichen Welt so ausgeprägten Autorentum entgegenzuwirken steht nun also morphorm als Synonym für alle meine schöpferischen Tätigkeiten.

morphorm was founded as a label and web-domain about seven years ago. Phonetically this term refers to the english words ,more form‘. This stands for an attitude and ideology in the design process, which is never satisfied with the outer shape only (,more than just form‘) on the one hand, and for a continuous diversification and assimilation (‚morphing‘) of the problem solving towards sociocultural developments on the other hand. To counteract against the dominating authorship in the western world, morphorm appears as a synonym for all my imaginative work.

私のもう一つの造語「morphorm」も同様で、今から６年ほど前にトレードマーク、そしてウェブドメインとして誕生したこの言葉は、英語の「more form」にかかった、言葉遊びが含まれています。これには、型や外見のみでは満足しない「more than just form」、さらに社会の変化に適応「morphing」し、常に的確なソリューションを提供するという価値観とポリシーが込められています。

西洋文化の中に浸透しているデザイナー至上主義に対抗するという意味で、この「morphorm」は、すべての私の創作の代名詞となります。
